Get Your Films Directly At Your Home Rather Than A Subscription Service

June 10th, 2010 Bryan No comments

It always happens. You wait and wait for a remarkable movie to finally come out on video and you go to the video store and it is out of stock. You waited and waited and when you finally think you might get to see the motion picture you end up waiting even longer just waiting for it to be returned to the video store.

Or you have a good mail-in subscription service and rather than sending you the movie you want they mail you something else because the popular motion picture is out of stock. You load up your queue hopeful to get the film you would like but you end up getting everything but your first choices.

So what do you do when you’re in the frame of mind for a horror flick and a romantic chick-flick shows up as an alternative, or you’re patiently waiting for a recent release and even while it has been released on video it is not available from your mail-in subscription service. That has long been the dilemma with subscription services. They do not accommodate your needs like they ought to.

But now those problems are over. You can now download complete, first-class movies to your computer with just the stroke of a button. Not only that but you can also get games, music, software and even more. With a good movie download service you can get almost any motion picture that you would like, given that it has been released on video, whenever you want.

With a legal website you will pay a small membership charge that will allow you limitless downloads for a period of time. If you discover a service that offers to allow you to download for free, be careful, because you will most likely be getting viruses, adware or even spyware along with your download. There is a legal and reputable way to download motion pictures, make sure that you are doing it right.

The membership charge is very economical and it is akin to the conventional video store or mail-in service, yet you do not have the same difficulties of not being able to get the movie that you would like. You can download any movie, anytime 24/7.

There is even software that you can get so that you can relocate the movie to a DVD so that you can view it on your TV set. It works so well that you can’t even tell the difference between the movies you downloaded on your computer and one you got at the video store.

Downloading movies is the best way to get the motion pictures you really want delivered right to your computer. It is easy and straightforward. Find a legal and reputable website and try it today.

I Don’t Understand Why You’re Making Such A Big Deal Out Of This. I Just Want To Eat Your Brains.

May 27th, 2010 Bryan No comments

Zombies have come a long way from their Afro-Caribbean origins of Haiti and Africa. The modern zombie started to take a bit of a twist after George A. Romero’s 1968 film Night of the Living Dead. The success of this film prompted the modern pop culture version of zombies and recently a slew of zombie films and video games. No more voodoo we have engineered viruses now to bring forth our post apocalyptic zombie infested futures and the modern day zombie would give Usain Bolt a run for his money.

I feel zombie movies aren’t what they use to be as they just aren’t as scary anymore. Zombies basically have been beaten to death. Yes I did notice the pun. There has been a little differences in all fairness. Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later had the whole running zombies, I Am Legend and 28 weeks later observed the mental outcome of zombies on the survivors, Quarantine and Diary of the Dead tried the whole point of view mockumentary approach. Even then though I feel zombies have past their prime. Yet another pun.

Zombie video games seemed like the natural progression. There is nothing like killing hordes of undead with sub-machine guns and shot guns after a long day to blow off some steam. Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies, Plants vs Zombies and the ever popular Resident Evil is like cheap therapy.

That’s why I’m glad the film version of Resident Evil turned out as well as it did. The first Resident Evil has got the be my most favourite zombie movie. Resident Evil’s zombies also take it one step further with mutations that make zombies from other movies look like cute little chiwawas. The kind Paris Hilton keeps in her handbag. The instalment of the movie franchise.
A new gimic has been added to bring zombies to the next level. Be prepared for blood spraying and un-dead body parts flying in your face as this was shot using James’s Cameron’ s 3D Fusion Camera System. The same used in Avatar and a few other 3D movies. The movie previews gives you a little taste as to what’s in store. The ugliest zombies, insane fight scenes and hopefully a conclusion to the story. Happy ending maybe? or is that asking for too much? How happy can the ending be anyway right? Everybody’s dead and the ones that are still around won’t be able to keep up a decent dinner conversation.

So will 3D bring new life into the un-dead? Sorry couldn’t resist. Well it should at least keep it fresh for a little while and it won’t be just another zombie movie. I’m hoping in the near future cinemas will take it to the next level and install water squirters and squirt you when it’s a particularly bloody scene or like leg grabbers to grab you when the zombies are chasing. I’d so go to that cinema.

Until then though its hot chicks killing zombies in 3D this September.

Guitar Queero

February 15th, 2010 Neto No comments

Guitar Queero Guitar Queero
What is my guitar skill level?

I’ve never had a lesson, I’m self taught, and I’m 12 years old.

I can play the music for songs like Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeplin), Eruption (outro)(Van Halen), Sweet Child O’mine (Guns and Roses), Kryptonite (3 Doors Down) and many others.

On a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being “very bad” to 10 being “very good”, where do I rank?
(It’s on a real guitar, not Guitar Queero)
More Details:
I just this morning learned stairway to heaven, and it sounds like it does by the actual band. I can palm-mute, though I keep hitting the volume dail on my guitar when I do (I use a Fender Stratocaster type guitar). I mostly use tablature. I can write my own music. If you want to hear one, email me and I’ll email you the music I’m working on.
Thank you for answering!

*sigh*

Oh no. Here we go

I don’t see why people think they are so good because they are self taught. I mean, don’t get me wrong, some self-taught players are good. The Eruption tapping is nothing spectacular to someone who knows guitar and has been playing for more than a year. I can’t judge how well of a player you are based on four songs you can play, you would need to put a recording of yourself playing.

A good musician, in my opinion, doesn’t sit and practice the same song over and over until they are perfect at the song. Learn some stuff about music, make sure you are getting good technique (you don’t want to absolutely screw yourself over with improper technique), and learn to do things like improvising.

Music is about creativity, put your own spin on the songs, change it up a bit. Or, write your own, that could make you a good musician.

You could play something like Yngwie Malmsteen perfectly, but if you don’t know anything about guitar, or can’t play in time, no band will want you.

Now, you could actually be amazing at all of these things, and if that’s the case, you would need to add a little more detail as to what you can do.

*The most important thing about any instrument is that you’re not playing it to impress people or “be cool”. Play it for yourself and make the music YOU want to make.

So yeah.

nintendo wii games list 2009 nintendo wii games list 2009

Many of us own a games console of some type, there are a wide range available from hand held consoles such as the Nintendo DS to the larger, higher quality consoles such as the Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii.

Over the years, games consoles have advanced considerably and so much that we can now play against other gamers in different countries. 2 of the most popular consoles without doubt have been the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii; both have major selling points and offer a great gaming experience to the user.

The PS3 is a fantastic console with a variety of games available; the quality is unrivalled and looks very sleek and modern. Since its release in November 2006, over 15 million have been sold which shows the popularity of the PS3. One of the great things about the PS3 is that updates are constantly available, for example, on Pro Evolution Soccer 2009; each team gets updated after the weekend’s games which mean the game is up to date with the latest news and players.

The Nintendo Wii offers a totally different gaming experience as they try and move away from the traditional way of playing games. The idea of the Wii is to become more active whilst still enjoying the great games on offer; this was confirmed by the release of Wii Fit aimed at making fitness fun.

Since its release in December 2006, over 30 million have been sold which is double the amount of Playstation 3’s. The controller detects movement and allows the user to become more involved in the game. Wii Sports is available as a package with the console and with Tennis, Boxing, Bowling, Golf and Baseball available, and is a great game to start your Wii experience.

These two, along with the Xbox 360, have competed for customers since their release and are set to continue. The seventh generation consoles have been extremely popular and as Christmas approaches many parents will see these appearing on Christmas lists. The Wii has been the biggest success and offers a different experience but consoles such as the Nintendo DS and PS3 are also fantastic. Find the best deals on the Wii and PS3 online.
