PokerRoom.Com Three Year Hiatus Leading Up to Return to Online Poker
You could say that it’s been a return to the online poker scene that has been three years in the making. You could also say that it’s just a rumour and the original online real money poker website, PokerRoom.com is not getting ready to make their comeback into the world of online poker. Though there have been speculations about the online poker website returning to the business after its three year long hiatus, there has been no confirmation as to whether players can expect to be able to play poker online at PokerRoom.com in 2012.
PokerRoom was one of the first websites to offer players around the world the chance to play poker online, allowing players to use the deposit system to deposit money into the online casino and play against other players in traditional poker games, and tournaments. In addition to this feat, the poker company also created the first Mac friendly online poker experience – giving PokerRoom.com a prestigious reputation in the world of online poker games.
After nearly a decade of operation, the website was forced to close due to the restraints that were being placed on the company financially and the legislation surrounding the online poker games in the United States. Now, three years later in the midst of changing legislation there have been rumours that PokerRoom.com is getting ready for a comeback.
News of the comeback was broken through Twitter, but was quickly recanted. At this point, players aren’t sure whether the website is going to be coming back. Sources have not confirmed or denied the information and operators of the PokerRoom.com website have simply stated that they would be open to renewing the lease on online poker through PokerRoom at some point in the future.
Looks like only PokerRoom.com knows what’s in store after their three year hiatus.
